The audio screen in my mini had white lines running down it. I tried for 2 years to get it repaired with the lines gradually increasing. I visited several local repair services that gave varying advice about part required and cost, none inspired confidence. I did a google search, found Jay and popped to see him. He knew what to do straight away. He sourced the screen and came to fit it at a very good price compared to some I was quoted. My car isn't posh like some of the ones you see on facebook but he took time to help. I really appreciate this and would recommend to anyone who wants a reliable, trustworthy service.

Contacted black ice a few years ago to fit a reversing camera and dash cam in my car, excellent service from start to finish, since then I have only ever used jay for work on daughters car and my wife's. Jay has done a load of modifications on my new car which includes fitting daytime running lights, sill lights, and carbon fibre rear diffuser with brake light. Will always highly rate black ice

I called Jay at Black ice for advice on how best to install CarPlay on my Evoque. He knows his stuff! So I booked Jay to come and install the CarPlay conversion. He arrived on time and did a fantastic job, so neat and tidy and all hidden away. He also installed a dash cam power supply that was equally professionally fitted. His standard of work is second to none and his advice and guidance is born from being a true expert in his field. I wouldn't hesitate to contact him if I ever want any more auto electrical work done. I know diddly squat about car audio, so was a prime contender to be mugged off. Jay is superb - explained everything to me, offered a couple of solutions and then did a great job...wouldn't hesitate to use again. Thanks Jay, although I love listening to the tone of the exhaust, a few tunes and a satnav are a welcome addition to the car.

Booked Jay to install a 2-channel dashcam and supply and install a reversing camera. Jay has carried out a few car audio installations for me over the years, and this one was up to his usual, impeccably high standards. Both installations look factory-fitted and work like a dream. The integration of the reversing camera with the BMW display is genius, love how the camera view is incorporated with the existing rear and side sensor display. Over the moon with the end result, I doubt that the BMW main dealer could have done any better - and would have charged considerably more!! Cannot recommend Jay and Black I.C.E. highly enough - great company and a really nice bloke.
