First time eating here and wasn't disappointed I went for the Chicken n Curry Burger served with fries and onion rings. Enjoyed it very much....but would have been an improvement swapping onion rings for a onion bhaji and an option of rice instead of chips. Will return again soon

Superb pub.
Large indoor bar and restaurant.
Large covered outdoor area.
Large outside uncovered terrace with views over the valley.
Food was very tasty and portions were huge!
Ploughman's was enough for 2, as was the camembert.
Definitely recommended.

Brilliant meal and lovely large garden to sit outside and just along from the Funicular railway

First time visit to this pub for a quick drink in Bridgnorth. Lovely position and atmosphere with attentive and polite staff. Great inside or outside. Will definitely visit again and make more time to enjoy lunch off what appears to be a comprehensive menu.

If I lived in Bridgnorth this would be my local.
4 of us went for Sunday lunch, reserved a table, which I would recommend that you need to do, it was ours for 2 hours.
We all agreed that the food was delicious and the portion size was generous, all at reasonable prices.
4 mains, 4 desserts, 4 drinks, circa £108 total.
Track this place down, you won’t be disappointed.
The waiting staff were friendly, and attentive.

Great food, and refreshingly pleasant and happy staff. We had a small issue with one of the dishes and they sorted it out straight away, no fuss no problem. Had the Mexican chicken and rice salad which was superb, also Chilli Nachos which is gorgeous. Good beer hear as well

Never visited this pub before. But sure to come back.
The beers are well-kept - we had gorgeous Wye Valley Butty Bach.
The menu has a fair few home-made options: Sarah isa veggie, and chose the vegetable chilli which was excellent (full of flavour, nicely hot) and accompanied it with cheesy garlic bread. I had cod and chips, served piping hot with good chips and mushy peas.
Two mains plus a side with 2 pints of great beer came to just over £40.

Lovely pub just a few mins walk from the Castle ruins, the Cliff railway and shops. Great service from really friendly staff. Food was really tasty and portions are very large!

The food was spot on for what we wanted coming out hot fresh and within 15-20 minutes for a table of 5 on a warm, sunny and busy Friday lunch time is outstanding. The staff where all very nice and friendly. Would recommend they even have space for dogs outside in the garden.
